hawaiiansOne day while working at the Kum Kwik convenience store:

Me: Thanks for chosing Kum Kwik, will there be anything else?

Idiot: nope that should do it.

Me: That’ll be $18,26, can i get you a car wash for a dollar off today with your purchase?

Idiot: huh? no, that’s okay. Are you from Hawaii?

Me: um..yeah. Good guess.

Idiot: do you know Johnny Bell?

Me: nope, never heard of him.

Idiot: that’s weird, he’s from Hawaii too.

Me: yeah, that is weird…i thought i was the only hawaiian in HotDish Hell.

Idiot: are you sure you don’t know him? you look about the same age.

Me: well, the population of Hawaii is around 1.39 million…so we may not have crossed paths. I moved from there at a young age…so..

Idiot: i’ll ask him if he knows you. I see him all the time.

Me: um…okay…have a great day.

Idiot: aloha!

Me: Ha en bra dag!

Sounds like “I have a gay friend in Chicago! Since you wrote a book about gay people, you must know who they are!!”

whenever someone mentions a gay person or even a person of a different race…someone will always say “oh, i have a gay friend” or “Oh, i have a black friend”
