3yroldstrongconveniencestoreMeanwhile, working at the Kum Kwik Convenience store in HotDish Hell, MN…..

Me: thank you for stopping at Kum Kwik, come back and see us again!

Woman: i wanted to ask…

Me: (great, here we go again) yes?

Woman: are you from Hawaii?

Me: i was born there…yes.

Woman: awwww, that’s so cute.

Me: okay….

Woman: why on earth did you move?

3yroldstrongcoverMe: well, my 3 year old body couldn’t take the sunshine and ocean air, so i demanded that my parents take me to this wintery tundra we know and love as ‘Minnysoder’.

Woman: really?

Me: really.

Winter’s a crazy time of year for us Canadians. Some of us either love the weather or we hate it. I’m one if those who love tha snowy tundra aka The Great White North. After a while though, some us need the sunshine. Hawaii sounds amazing right about now!

I love the snow…hate the cold…even that wouldn’t be bad if the wind didn’t blow all the time.
but i deal with it. this is where my family is, this is where i live. Canada is beautiful. Used to fish up where the trees only grow so tall, and it’s daytime for a very short time
