zechariah1412coverGot your attention? Good.

I have roughly 6 novels that have been started over the past 15 years. The way things start in my head is i write whatever story is shouting the loudest in my head.

Currently, a zombie apocalypse has been festering in my delicious brain since 1988. I had no idea how to start it, or how to finish it. So i started with a short story. “The Last Stronghold” which is a story featured in my latest effort “Midnight Snacks: a horror anthology“. The feedback i got on that story was to make it longer, more back story, more after story. So that’s what i started to do and i really didn’t think i would get as far as i have. But this story is louder than any inner ear can possibly take.

So by this summer, (possibly July or August), “Zechariah 14:12 Humanity’s Last Stand” should be hitting virtual book shelves.

The tale takes place in the small town of “Fair Lakes, MN” and yes, it is a gratuitous paralell to “Hot Dish Hell, MN”. If you live in this town, you will see just how hard (or easy) it is to defend yourself against a zombie apocalypse.

zombieA copywriter awakens to a chaotic plague that is turning humanity into mindless rotting killing machines. His only goal is to find his kids and then make their way to his wife. There are also short vignettes showing what befalls the President of the United States while American citizens are being feasted on.

So i hope you will enjoy this story in the coming months. You can order your copy of “Midnight Snacks” from Amazon (yes, it is available on Kindle)to get a preview of what’s to come and keep up on all my writing endeavors on my artist page: The Mad Proet.
